Bush

Fahrenheit 9/11

(Michael Moore)br /

Michael Moore:

He was born in 1954 in Flint/Michigan. He worked as a journaliste for "The Flint Voice" for 10 years. In 1989 at the age of 22 he publiced the documentation called "Roger and me". He also produced and hosted famous TV-Shows like "The Awful Truth" and "The Big One". His best-known book is "Stupid white man" and his best known documentations are "Bowling for Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11".Fahrenheit 9/11 is his best documentation film and he got the golden Palm of Cannes for it. Many people think that Moore would like to help Kerry with its Anti-Bush film, but that's not true.He said that when Kerry will win, he will be on him! Now we know that Moore continues being on Bush, because he's again Americas president for the next 4 years!

George W. Bush:

The film begin with the presidential elections in 2000. George W.Bush against Al Gore! At the beginning Al Gore had more votes than Bush until Fox News said that in Florida the winner is Bush. And then all the other channels said that Bush is the winner. But it was surprising, because the reporter of Fox News who said that Bush is the winner, is Bush's cousin! Next the Supreme Court had to accept the judgement, but that was no problem, because all the judges are good friends of Bush's dad! So the people, above all the Afro-Americans, demonstrated beacause of the reproaches against Bush. 1.The votes of the Afro-Americans hadn't been count. 2.The judges appointed the president, not the people! That was too much for Bush and so he went on holiday!

September 11th/ Bush's mistakes:

On September 11th while the planes crahed into the tower, Bush sat in a primary school and didn't do anything. He hadn't read the report of the CIA, he didn't care about anything. And therefore he held Saddam Husein responsible for the attacks and not the Saudis and the whole Bin Ladens were flown out of the USA to Afghanistan without interrogating* this family. So Bush could continue making deals with the Bin Ladens. Before Bush became president he went to the oilbusiness ,but wasn't very successful, he lost a lot of money.Bush got much money from the Saudis and they had an advantage by the support of Bush because at this time his dad was Americas president! Bush often put persons in offices which were very important for him and the persons he put in often helped Bush in bad times. Moreover he is on the Board of Carlyle Group. It's the only campaign which profited from the September 11th , because the Carlyle Group investes in health care, Communication and defence. Not only Bush profited by the September 11th ,but also the Bin Ladens who has more than over 860 Million Dollars in firms in the USA! The Americans had reasons to worry, as Bush gets more money from the Saudis, he like them more. So Bush had to show the Americans that he care about their safety and therefore he passed the US Patriot Act which protected the privat matter* of the US citizens. It checked the medical and financial records, computer and telephone conversations and library books of every single citizen. But they checked it in a wrong way. For example a mother wasn't allowed to take her mother's milk on the board of a plane and she had to drink the whole milk whereas you are allowed to take 2 lighters* and 4 matchboxes* on the board of a plane. Besides a peace initiative was snooped out* and a man was asked if he had say something about Osama Bin Laden. The times passed and Bush decided to attack the Irak although that land never considered to attack the USA.

The Attack on March 19th 2003:

The Attack was very gruesam, because many innocent citizens were killed. The Soldiers didn't take that very seriously, for example they fight the war as if it is a game and they listened to music like "The roof is on fire" and "

Before they're going to fight. The Soldiers gave or give all what they can for their land and they were still forgotten. Many veteranhospitals were closed and their sold was reduced. At the beginning of the war they were motivated and confident that it will be easy to win, but then the Iraqis fought back and the Soldiers became fear, because over 825 Soldiers were killed and over 5000 soldiers were wounded in the first year. The Americans needed urgently more soldiers. First they tried to find new rekruts in economically poor regions, because they needed that money ,they earn there for college. Although they lived in bad conditions, these poor people were always the first who served their country. Then the Americans founded the Coalition of the Willingly with members like Costa Rica, Iceland or Afghanistan. The war on Iraq was going to be immoral and very brutal and the soldiers had to stay longer although Bush said that the war is won.The don't trust Bush anymore. Moore had an Interview with a soldier who was in Iraq and he said that he would prefer to go to prison before he ever went back to the war. The soldiers don't want to die senseless and they trusted Bush, but we all know that that was the case. Lots of Americans are very angry because of this and above all the relatives of the killed soldiers. At the end of the film Michael Moore asked some members of congress if any of them would sent their sons or daughters to Iraq, but nobody would, of course. Finally Moore quoted a sentence of George Orwells novel "1984" which said that a war can't be win and that a war will never end.

All in all is this documentation very succeeded and it based on the truth. It's represent with much ironical elements and it's very sarcastic and but also emotionally. With the title "Fahrenheit 911" Michael Moore wants to say that it is "the temperature where freedom burns!" The film based on Ray Bradburys "Fahrenheit 451". It is the first documentation on the top of the US cinema charts!
