In the movie \"Shakespeare in love\" the story of Romeo and Juliet is told as Shakespeare wrote it. Shakespeare is in a theatre and has a black-out.He does not know what he can possibly write next, but then Violet steps into his life. Violet wants to be an actor, but she is a woman. She is disguised as a man, because a woman is not allowed to play in a theatre.Shakespeare is the only one who checks up her lining. He falls in love with her, but she is promised to marry another man. Actually Shakespeare and Violet cannot come together. A \"hideplay\" of the two lovers begins. Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet are two lovers, who cannot come together. Their families dislike each other and Juliet is promised to an other man. The love between the two is secret, but as they are discovered both are deeply sad. The families of Romeo and Juliet want them to separate. Juliet cannot bear the thought of seeing her Romeo- never again and she takes a poison to kill herself. In the end Romeo and Juliet commit suicide.
