The decision for a job is always influenced by a variety of factors. Discuss the aspects that affect ones choice.
At the time my parents and grandparents often ask me what job I want to do in my future life after I have finished school. At first I want to say that this decision is not easy and so I changed my decision often in the last years, but why is this so difficult ? I think this refers to the fact that many different factors have an influence on us in this situation.
First and most important are the personal interests because only things you like you also want to do in your later life. For example someone who is not interested in computers at all, won't study electronic date processing or another job in the computer branch.
But these interests have a connection to a second factor - the age. Everybody had a dream job when he or she was a child, but this changed from second to second. Such jobs were for example model, fireman or police officers.
After some years most young people do not want to have this "dream job" anymore but also some still wants.
The next factor I want to mention are the own abilities and the knowledge. Some people want to have a certain job but they realize that they are not able to manage it as they do not have the knowledge they need or they did not have the claimed school education, that means in other words they are not able to meet the demands.
Besides these personal factors also other factors play an important role. Even if someone has the education it can happen that he can't study because of the money, that means the money he or she needs to get the education he or she does not have.
Furthermore the situation on the labour market is important. If someone knows that he will not get a job in his branch after he has finished the vocational training or study, he will think about his decision because everyone wants to have a perspective.
Likewise play the family and opinion of friends an important role.
If the friends are not interested to work or to get a good job and education, some young people do not think about what they want and maybe they do not try to find a training or job place. In other words they think that it is not important to work and they only want to hang around with their friends and have fun.
Another factor to be taken into account are the parents. Most young people see their parents and their jobs as model. Therefore they look what job their parents have and how they like to do it. If the parents really love their job and have fun to do it the children remark that and maybe take that into account if they decide for their own job.
The last factor I want to mention which influences the decision for a job are the dreams for the future. Everyone has a dream how he or she wants to live in the future and what position in society they want to have. These dreams have a close contact to the job because if someone wants to be a celebrity or wants a life in luxury, he or she needs a job where he or she can earn a lot of money or which has a special reputation in society.
To sum it up there are many different factors which influence young people's decision for a job but although it is hard, if you have once decided for a job you really want, then you do not care anymore about others opinion or other factors because you made the decision for yourself and not for others.
I myself have decided that I want to study law and then become a lawyer and therefore to make this dream come true I will do everything that I can.
