London is the capital of Great Britain and it has got about 7 million inhabitants. London is built on the riverside of the Thames. Over the Thames there are a lot of bridges. The most famous things are Big Ben, Houses of Parliaments, St. Pauls Cathedral, Tower of London and the Buckingham Palace. The artists in the street of London drive it to a lively atmosphere. To go to other places you can take taxis, the underground (who is quit old) or one of the famous red double-decker busses.
